asked the Minister for Transport and Power if, in view of the proposed construction of new housing in the Ballyfermot area, Dublin, he is satisfied that electric power supplies are sufficient.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that the board are arranging to have adequate electricity supply available to housing developments in the Ballyfermot area.

17.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power when the entire Collarus area near Lauragh in south Kerry will be supplied with electricity.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that the Collarus area, which forms part of the board's Kilcatherine rural area, was recanvassed under the final phase of the rural electrification scheme within the last few months.

Terms for supply were quoted to all interested parties and those who have accepted the terms quoted will be supplied by early September.
