The draft EEC Social Action Programme setting out the Commission's priorities and its timetable of work over the period 1974-76 was examined by the Council of Social Ministers on 11th December, 1973. At this meeting the Council approved of the substance of the Commission's programme and decided on a Resolution, which was adopted by the Council on 21 January, 1974. (Official Journal No. C13 of 12 February, 1974). In accordance with the priorities set out in the Resolution the Commission has undertaken action in consultation with member states and specific proposals in a number of areas will be put to the next Council of Social Ministers on 10th June, 1974.
