The reasons for exemptions from detailed price control have been spelt out in various monthly reports of the National Prices Commission. These monthly reports are in the Oireachtas Library and are also circulated to each Deputy. I would refer the Deputy to the commission's monthly reports from January, February and October 1972, June, 1973, and in particular to the report for April, 1974, in which the commission's recommendations, which have been accepted by me are set out in detail.
