Wide powers relating to the control of mobile home sites are already available under both planning and sanitary services legislation. I have no plans to introduce additional legislation in the matter.
Would the Minister not include something in the new Bill he is to introduce?
I do not think it is necessary. The existing Planning Bill and the sanitary services legislation give adequate powers to those who want to use them to deal with this problem.
