Cavan): The total area of land purchased by the Forest and Wildlife Service during the period 1/4/74-30/9/74, the latest period for which statistics are readily available, is 7,267 acres.

Cavan): The area compulsorily acquired or purchased by voluntary agreement by the Land Commission in the period 1st April, 1974, to 30th September last is 7,600 acres approximately.
