asked the Minister for Lands when it is proposed to divide the Rochford estates, Shanclough, Curroy, Ballina, County Mayo.

Cavan): Possession of one of the properties referred to has already passed to the Land Commission and proceedings for the acquisition of the others are in their final stages. It is hoped that possession of the latter will be obtained early in the new year and that the preparation of plans for the division of the two holdings can then be put in train. At this stage, however, it is not possible to say precisely when the lands will be divided but there will be no avoidable delay in the matter.

asked the Minister for Lands when it is proposed to divide the Hughes estate, Coolcronan, Ballina, County Mayo.

asked the Minister for Lands when it is proposed to divide the Prendergast estate, Rathbane, Ballina, County Mayo.

(Cavan): With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 48 and 49 together.

I understand the aim is to include the two properties referred to in next year's allocation programme.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Dooher estate, Carn, Ballina, County Mayo will be divided.

(Cavan): Resale proposals are at present being prepared for the holding referred to and three other properties on hands of the Land Commission in the locality aggregating some 239 acres and undivided shares. It is hoped that the lands can be allotted early next year.
