There are no plans with my Department for development at Dublin Street, Balbriggan. I understand, however, that Dublin County Council are at present preparing revised house plans for a scheme of 16 old people's dwellings in the area. Subject to my approval to the new house plans, the provision of the scheme will be a matter entirely for Dublin County Council within its devolved responsibilities.

I approved Dublin County Council's proposal to accept a tender for this scheme on 12th December, 1974.
