Vol. 276 No. 13

Ceisteanna — Questions. Written Answers. - Water Extension Schemes.

91.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will expedite sanction for a number of small water extension schemes at present under consideration in his Department.

Since I introduced the new procedures on the 1st April last, individual small water supply and sewerage schemes no longer require my sanction.

The Kildare County Council's small schemes programme to which I assume the Deputy is referring, was received in my Department on 9th instant and will be considered for a capital allocation for 1975. The local authority will be notified of the amount of such allocation in due course.
