asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if it is intended to change the system of election for membership of boards of conservators; and, if so, the changes proposed.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, it is proposed to take Questions Nos. 112 and 113 together.
I have ascertained from the Inland Fisheries Commission that it hopes to make its final report available in the near future.
I have decided, therefore, that it would be desirable to await this report before finalising my proposals in regard to the system of election of boards of conservators.
