Vol. 277 No. 5

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Benefits.

262.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange for payment of a non-contributory old age pension to a person (name supplied) in County Cork.

The claim for old age (non-contributory) pension of the person named in the question is in the course of being investigated by the social welfare officer. The means consist of two holdings which the claimant's solicitor states are being transferred to the claimant's two sons. When the transfer has been completed the social welfare officer will refer the case immediately to the local pension committee for a decision.
