A project for the establishment of a Garda museum has already been initiated by the Commissioner and, apart from being the subject of an internal Garda circular to members of the force, it has received publicity in The Garda Review. Whether the project will be a success or how long it might take to get a significant collection of items together will, of course, depend to a large extent on the response by members of the force, and, perhaps, of some members of the public, who may have material to contribute.
