The Department have asked Kildare County Council to reserve a site for a second-level school in Leixlip. The time schedule for the building of such a school is at present under consideration in my Department in the context of the estimated school population in the immediate future and in the next decade.
Further discussions will be held with local interests as to the form the school shall take.
