asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the acquisition of the Calvey estate, Aclare, County Sligo; if it is yet in the hands of the Land Commission; and, if so, when it is expected it will be divided.

(Cavan): Proceedings for the acquisition of the property referred to are in the final stages; price has been agreed and the Land Commission are arranging a date for possession.

At this stage it is not possible to indicate when the lands will be divided but there will be no avoidable delay in the matter.

asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the acquisition of the Durcan estate at Ballinvalley, Achonry, County Sligo.

(Cavan): The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the property referred to but they are having the matter investigated. Until such time as their inquiries have been completed it is not possible to say what action, if any, will be taken in regard to the lands.
