Vol. 278 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Chiropody Treatment.

14.

asked the Minister for Health if a person who is a voluntary social welfare contributor is entitled to free chiropody treatment in the outpatients' department of a health board hospital.

A voluntary contributor who satisfies certain contribution qualifications is entitled to hospital outpatient services free of charge. Chiropody services are not normally provided, however, as outpatient hospital services.

If the Deputy has any specific case of difficulty in mind, I will have it investigated if he supplies particulars.
