Vol. 279 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Estate.

48.

asked the Minister for Lands how long the Downey estate, Crampscastle, Fethard, County Tipperary, has been held by the Land Commission; the reason for the delay in dividing the estate; and when it is proposed to do so.

(Cavan): The Land Commission obtained possession of the property referred to on 31st December, 1969, but due to the pressure of more urgent cases it has not been possible to prepare a scheme for the disposal of the lands. It is expected that allotment will take place early next year.
