The report commissioned by the National Prices Commission on professional fees in the building industry was published on 13th March, 1975. The commission invited interested parties to send them their comments on the report not later than April, 1975. The commission will consider all such comments and make their recommendations to me.
I have approved recommendations of the commission in regard to a revised fee scale for quantity surveyors and the hourly rate for principal architects. I will consider what further action I should take when I receive the commission's final recommendations.
