The Gaeltacht grant payable to teachers serving in schools in the Gaeltacht in which all subjects are taught through the medium of Irish has been increased from time to time as follows: £150 from 1st July, 1970; £172 from 1st January, 1973; £184 from 1st June, 1973; £197 from 1st June, 1974; £207 from 1st December, 1974; £228 from 1st March, 1975.
