Vol. 281 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tralee Garda Barracks.

27.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider giving ten feet of property at the Garda barracks in Tralee, County Kerry to Tralee UDC to widen Waterloo Road.

Mr. Kenny

In October, 1964, the Commissioners of Public Works agreed to make available a ten feet wide strip of land around the near boundary of Tralee garda station and Custom House to the Tralee Urban District Council for incorporation in the public roadway but the concession was not availed of. The UDC are now seeking a 16 feet wide strip plus part of the Garda station site for car parking and this is being considered.
