asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that considerable disquiet exists over the continuing failure of the Land Commission to acquire the Page McGarry estate at Cloonconra, Castlerea, County Roscommon; and if he will explain why no action has been taken in this matter during the past two years.

, Cavan): Proceedings for the compulsory acquisition of the property referred to were instituted in July, 1973, and reached the stage where the price for the lands was fixed and published in September, 1974. An objection by the owners to the acquisition of the lands is at present pending for hearing before the Lay Commissioners.
