Vol. 282 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wicklow Schools.

25.

asked the Minister for Education his Department's proposals for new primary schools for boys and girls in Wicklow town; and when the proposals are likely to be activated.

Grants have been sanctioned by my Department towards the cost of extending the De-La Salle Boys' National School and Scoil an Choróin Mhuire Girls' National School to cater for the housing developments in Wicklow town area. I understand that tenders will soon be invited for the extension to the boys' school; planning is proceeding in the case of the girls' school.
