Vol. 284 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Cork House Grant.

192.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will arrange to have the high rate of new house grant paid to a person (name supplied) in Newmarket, County Cork.

The grant in respect of this house was applied for by the builders to whom the ordinary rate of new house grant was paid. As the person named was not the applicant for the grant, it is regretted that his claim for the special rate cannot be entertained.

However, if the person concerned could arrange with the builders that the builders refunded the grant paid to them, the person concerned could then apply for the special rate.
