I have been informed by the Industrial Development Authority that they propose to build a 20,000 sq. ft. advance factory in Carrickmacross. The factory will be built on a 10 acre site which forms part of a larger site being acquired by the local authority under a compulsory purchase order.
The authority propose to commence construction of the factory as soon as certain details regarding the purchase of the site have been finalised and planning permission has been obtained.
