Vol. 285 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Speed Limit Signs.

3.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will ensure that all signs indicating a restriction on the maximum speed at which a vehicle may travel will be clearly identified at the point of entry to a controlled zone and that smaller signs will be provided at regular intervals.

Responsibility for the erection of signs to indicate the existence of speed limits and corresponding repeater signs is a matter for local authorities concerned.
