The Commissioners of Public Works expect that this matter will be attended to by the middle of November.
The Minister will recall that when he replied some time ago to a similar question from Deputy Davern he indicated that the work was expected to be completed before now. Is that not so?
Deputy Davern asked when he could expect to hear from me on this matter and I said "in three weeks". We wrote to him within that time but I did not give an undertaking regarding a completion date.
