Because of many other urgent commitments the Commissioners of Public Works have not been in a position to prepare an engineering report on the pier at West End, Bere Island. However, I am arranging to have the report expedited.
Would the Parliamentary Secretary agree that 18 months is a long time to be awaiting a report from his Department in respect of inspection of a pier at Bere Island particularly when it only involves a few days work for one man?
As I have indicated, I am arranging that the report be expedited immediately.
