Vol. 286 No. 10

Written Answers. - County Kildare Garda Station.

269.

asked the Minister for Justice if he intends to have the Garda station reopened at Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The station at Ballymore Eustace is kept open for what are the normal periods for one-man stations, that is 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on weekdays and 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Sundays. The garda in charge of the station performs the usual tours of duty in the area and when, for any reason, he is absent, the area is served by the station at Hollywood, with assistance from the district headquarters at Baltinglass.
