I am assuming that the Deputy is referring to the North Ardfert water supply scheme. In view of the fact that the scheme as proposed by the council was an exceptionally costly one, they were requested some time ago to re-examine these proposals. There are currently no proposals before my Department in the matter.

asked the Minister for Local Government the present position regarding the sewerage schemes at (a) Feakle and (b) Mount Shannon, County Clare.
The local authority were asked on the 7th May last to revise the contract drawings submitted for the Feakle sewerage scheme. The revised drawings have not yet been submitted.
Contract documents for the Mount-shannon sewerage scheme are under consideration in my Department.
