Vol. 287 No. 1

Written Answers. - Christmas Postal Traffic.

317.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether the level of postal traffic had fallen for December, 1975, as against December, 1974; and if he will state the postal revenue for December, 1974, and December 1975.

There was little change in postal traffic and postal revenue in December, 1975, as compared with December, 1974. Postal revenue in December, 1974, was £2.97 million and, while final figures for December, 1975, are not yet available, the indications are that revenue will be at much the same level.
