asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the national parks and national monument locations at which facilities for visitors are available to provide information on the park or the monument; and if he will provide a telephone service at each monument under the control of the Office of Public Works.

A special visitor information service is operated at the following national parks and monuments: Bourn Vincent Memorial Park, Killarney; Derrynane National Historic Park, County Kerry; Newgrange Passage-grave, County Meath; Rock of Cashel, County Tipperary; Cahir Castle, County Tipperary; Clonmacnois, County Offaly; Dublin Castle; Jerpoint Abbey, County Kilkenny; Limerick Castle, Limerick; Aughnanure Castle, County Galway.

While a telephone is provided for official use in some instances, it is not proposed to provide telephone facilities at each monument under the control of the Office of Public Works.
