I am not yet in a position to say when it will be possible to proceed with the investigation of this project.
Has there been any progress made at all since the idea was conceived?
Yes, some progress has been made. It now transpires that it may not be necessary to replace all the trees at this stage and certain alternative courses of action are now being considered. Until a decision is made the question of floodlighting has been deferred. Even when a tree planting programme is settled the investigation of the floodlighting project will depend on the availability of engineering staff and money.
