I move:
That provision be made—
(a) for the introduction of a new tax called corporation tax to be charged on the profits of companies for the financial year 1974 and each subsequent financial year;
(b) for the payment of the said tax by such persons, in such circumstances and at such rates as may be specified in the Act giving effect to this Resolution.
(c) for charging to income tax distributions made by companies;
(d) for applying, adapting or amending any existing tax in accordance with the Act giving effect to this Resolution."
