Vol. 288 No. 1

Written Answers. - Local Loans Fund.

67.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the serious situation arising in Cork County Council due to delay in payment by the local loans fund; and if he will clarify the situation as a matter of urgency in view of the financial burden which may be imposed on Cork ratepayers.

I am not aware of any undue delay in the payment to Cork County Council of instalments of loans from the local loans fund— payments since the beginning of 1976 amount to over £2.15 million.
