asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received an application from Galway County Council for approval for a supply of water for the Billamore group water supply scheme to be taken from the Oughterard public water supply scheme; and, if so, when the approval will issue.

By letter dated 24th February, 1976, Galway County Council informed my Department that approval had been granted for the supply of water from the Oughterard public scheme to the Billamore group scheme. My Department's local inspector will call to the group promoter shortly and advise him regarding arrangements to be made for the preparation of a design for the scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government the position in regard to the proposed Duarigle group water scheme, Newmarket, County Cork.

The submission of a design for the Duarigle group water scheme is awaited in my Department.
