Vol. 289 No. 3

Written Answers. - Army Gratuity.

48.

asked the Minister for Defence why an Army gratuity has not been paid to a person (name supplied) who was a trooper in Kildare Barracks.

The grant or refusal of a gratuity in this case is in the absolute discretion of the Minister for Defence. The case is still under consideration and I will communicate with the Deputy when a decision has been reached.
