31.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to expedite the transfer of a telephone in respect of a person (name supplied) in Crosshaven, County Cork.

Arrangements have been made to complete the removal during the coming week.

32.

Mr. Kitt

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if his Department will erect a telephone kiosk at Glentane, Castleblakeney, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

The costs of providing and maintaining a kiosk at the place in question would, it is considered, far exceed likely receipts. Moreover, kiosks are not provided in rural areas where there is no post office. The erection of a kiosk at Glentane, Castleblakeney, Ballinasloe, cannot therefore be favourably considered.
