Vol. 290 No. 4

Written Answers. - PO Collection Boxes.

44.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have a letter collection box installed at Knockavilla village, Dundrum, County Tipperary, in view of the fact that the post office is four miles from the village.

The provision of a letterbox at Knockavilla village would not be warranted by the use likely to be made of it.

45.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange as a matter of urgency for a letterbox to be provided for the residents of River Valley estate, Swords, County Dublin.

The necessary planning permission for the erection of a letterbox at the estate is being sought from the local authority and, if it is obtained, the facility will be provided without delay.
