This group had hoped to obtain a supply of water to serve 20 houses from the existing Ballindine public scheme in County Mayo. Mayo County Council confirmed however that the Ballindine supply was fully committed and the Carranurlaur group could not be supplied from the public scheme. In the circumstances the group were advised to seek a suitable alternative local source.
Until such time as a source of water is available further progress with the group scheme is not possible.
