The results of the 1987 largescale national Household Budget Survey are not yet available. Fieldwork on the survey extended from February 1987 to April 1988. A total of 7,700 households co-operated. Processing of the very detailed information collected is well advanced and it is expected that preliminary results, including those requested by the Deputy, will be available within two to three months.
