I have been informed by the Industrial Development Authority that estimates prepared by the authority showing the number of new jobs created are available only in respect of the last three years of the period specified in the Deputy's question. The total number of new jobs created in manufacturing industry in the years 1971 to 1973, inclusive, is estimated at 42,300.
