Vol. 291 No. 2

Written Answers. - Invalidity Allowance.

95.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will arrange to have an invalidity allowance paid to a person (name supplied) in County Cork.

On 2nd April, 1976, an invalidity pension book in respect of an award of pension from 29th April, 1976, to the person referred to by the Deputy was issued to the post office nominated by him for payment. On 4th May, 1976, he informed the Department that the pension book had not reached the office of payment. Inquiries made in the matter disclosed that the book had been delivered in error to another post office and as it had not been returned a replacement book was issued on 18th May, 1976.
