asked the Minister for Transport and Power the number of ports in which decasualisation of dock labour schemes are in operation and on record in his Department; and the number of dockers employed in each of the following ports for the years 1970 and 1975: Dublin, Cork, Waterford, New Ross, Galway, Foynes, Drogheda, Greenore and Dún Laoghaire.

I have no statutory responsibility or functions in regard to decasualisation of dock labour schemes. I am, however, aware that such schemes have been introduced at Dublin, Waterford and Limerick.

The information requested in the second part of the Deputy's question as furnished to me by the relevant harbour authorities, is as follows:
