asked the Minister for Transport and Power the number of ports in which decasualisation of dock labour schemes are in operation and on record in his Department; and the number of dockers employed in each of the following ports for the years 1970 and 1975: Dublin, Cork, Waterford, New Ross, Galway, Foynes, Drogheda, Greenore and Dún Laoghaire.

I have no statutory responsibility or functions in regard to decasualisation of dock labour schemes. I am, however, aware that such schemes have been introduced at Dublin, Waterford and Limerick.
