asked the Minister for Finance when tenders will be advertised and when work will commence on the extension to Charlestown national school, County Mayo.

It is hoped that tenders will be sought in about four months' time for the extension and improvement of Charlestown national school. It is not possible yet to say when works are likely to commence.

asked the Minister for Finance when tenders will be advertised and when work will commence on the extension to Corrabeggin national school, Knockmore, Ballina, County Mayo.

The plans and specification have been prepared for the provision of an extra classroom at Corrabeggin national school. The chairman of the school board of management is being requested to seek planning permission and when this has been received tenders will be invited. It is too early to say at this stage when works are likely to commence.

asked the Minister for Finance when the plans will be approved for the erection of a new primary school at Swinford, County Mayo.

As stated in reply to a previous question by the Deputy on 28th April, 1976, the chairman of the board of management of Swinford boys' national school has been authorised to engage an architect to design the new school. The Commissioners of Public Works await submission of sketch plans by the architect.
