asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the (a) capital employed (b) profit or loss (c) total payroll (d) number of employees and (e) value of exports in respect of the Agricultural Credit Corporation for the period ended 31st December, 1975, and in respect of the Irish Sugar Company for the year ended 30th April, 1976.
Written Answers. - Agricultural Credit Corporation.
In the case of Comhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teoranta, the accounting year has been changed to end on 30th September each year as from 1976. Accordingly, the information sought by the Deputy in relation to the year ended 30th April, 1976 will not be available. The first accounts for the changed financial period will relate to the 17-month period from May, 1975 to September, 1976. The report and accounts covering the period will not be ready for some months yet but in accordance with normal practice will be laid on the table of the House in due course.
