Shannon Free Airport Development Company have informed me that a new firm, Comfort Limited, commenced operations in Kilrush early this month. The firm manufactures wet suits and has an employment potential of 16 people. SFADCo. will maintain their efforts to attract further industry to west Clare.
Are any further developments envisaged for west Clare in the near future other than the one mentioned?
Negotiations with another firm are being undertaken by SFADCo at present but I am not in a position to make any further disclosure on the matter.
