I understand that problems have been experienced by the promoters in finalising their corporate financing for this project. I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that, with their assistance, the promoters are endeavouring to find solutions for these problems. In the meantime the IDA have completed the purchase of a 90 acre site in Kilkenny for the project. The promoters are not in a position at this stage to say when the construction of the factory will begin.
