Vol. 295 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Conditions at County Cork School.

13.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the deplorable condition of and conditions at Baltydaniel national school, Mallow, County Cork; and, if so, the action he proposes to take to remedy the position there.

I am not aware of complaints to the Department on the condition of Baltydaniel national school.

An application has been received for a grant towards the cost of installing an oil-fired heating system and the Commissioners of Public Works have been asked to report as to the works which they would consider necessary to improve the heating in the school. When this report comes to hand, the question of a grant will be considered.
