There were not two separate medical referee examinations of the person referred to by the Deputy. An examination took place on 21st December, 1976, at which the medical referee revised the assessment of disablement and stated that in his opinion the claimant was not incapable of work. As a result of these findings the rate of his disablement pension was reduced to 40 per cent and his disability benefit was disallowed. He has appealed against the disallowance of disability benefit and, in this connection, he will be examined as soon as possible by another medical referee.
