Morette national school was closed from 1st July, 1966 owing to falling numbers and was not amalgamated with any other school. Accordingly there was no question of making the special transport arrangements which arise following amalgamations. The question of whether a transport service to Emo national school under the normal terms of the free transport scheme can be provided for the children referred to in the question is at present under investigation. I will advise the Deputy of the outcome as soon as possible.
