Following on my decision, which I announced on 7th February, 1977, to make grants available once more towards the cost of improvement works to smaller national schools, I have directed that an examination be made as a matter of urgency of all cases in respect of which applications have been received in my Department.
While I am anxious that each application be dealt with as expeditiously as possible, it may be necessary to establish priorities so that those schools in which improvements are most urgently required will be among the first to receive attention.
I am not in a position to say, at this stage, when grants will be made available for improvements to this school.
