Vol. 296 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Wexford School.

28.

asked the Minister for Education if he has received an application for an extension to Ballycanew national school, County Wexford; if he will expedite sanction in view of the overcrowding; and if he is aware that children are being taught in the cloakroom of the school.

My Department have proposals for an extension scheme comprising two classrooms and a general purposes room at Ballycanew national school, County Wexford. A grant will be sanctioned as soon as the preliminary arrangements have been cleared.

I am informed that the temporary accommodation which is being used is a staff room.
